It's the little things...

We have two godsons who are arguably two of the cutest, smartest, most wonderful children on the planet. Z is four and a half years old and N is fifteen months old.
We're very fortunate to spend quality time with them on Monday afternoons, while their mom gives piano lessons.
We enjoy many things together: music, dancing, pizza, bagels, and the latest is....

Lincoln Logs!

Who knew there was so much fun in a bucket? (Who knew that Lincoln Logs were still in existence?)

We're having an extra play date this afternoon--it's Lincoln Logs time!

Also, in an effort to consume more water, I treated myself to an environmentally friendly SIGG water bottle. This is the one I chose (the image is of pretty, delicate pink blossoms):

OK, here you again...I was a little worried when I clicked over and it said your blog was gone!!! But now it looks like you have gone public....

I know the Episcopal priest in Western Springs, named Brian....don't know if you've met him....(He wouldn't know me by my blog pseudonym....)

Yay for Lincoln logs. And congratulations on getting a Sigg bottle. I have one, but haven't cleaned it lately and so haven't been using it. Better get it washed!

I remember playing with Lincoln logs when I was a child. I'm glad to see that they are still around.

Pretty bottle! My daughter has one with Hello, Kitty on it. Apparently Hello Kitty is cool even for 8th graders.
Lincoln Logs are the best toy ever. Unfortunately, I enjoyed them more than my kids did...
