Friday Five: Affirmations
Singing Owl at RevGalBlogPals writes:
Lately I seem to be encountering many people who have a very difficult time finding anything good to say about themselves. They are able to extend grace and forgiveness to others but find it difficult to extend that same grace to themselves.
With that in mind, let's share some healthy affirmation today! Tell us five things you like about yourself!
1.I'm a good listener.
2.I'm a quick study.
3.I'm emotionally flexible. (Physically, not so much.)
4.I am good mediator.
5.I make a fine cup of tea.

I love these, Jennifer, just as I love you. Wish we lived next door to each other!! (or at least closer than we do now)
Never underestimate the value of a good Cup of Tea. Other affirmations are great as well!
You listen well...even via email. Great list.
If you'll put a little ice in it, I'd love to drink some tea and get to know you :) Great traits for a friend, to be sure. And how fun that you found pictures to go with all five!
A fine cup of tea is an exceptional thing!
i'll be right over for that cup of tea...
#s 1 and 5 seem to go together really well!
These are all great affirmations!
loved the graphics - and your comments were to the point. :) My Bearded Brewer would gladly join you for tea... I'll just come along for a chat. :)

I like these! I have some of the same qualities...but do not make a good cup of tea. Sad. LOVE the pics!
Nice list! -- emotionally flexible is a great trait!
I enjoyed these. And I love a good cup of tea.
Wonderful affirmations and I love the pix to go with them.
Hi Jennifer, I came to post 5 positive things about myself and whoops, I had to go back and reread the post because I see that everyone commented on your five but did anyone "step up to the plate?"
Well at the risk of sounding like an ego maniac, I'm going to as I've work(ed) very hard on these 5 traits - 1. I'm a good friend to others, honest, listening, caring
2. I'm mentally and physically healthy and strong
3. I'm honing my writing skills and feeling good about my progress
4. I've begun to write poetry and although I think poet laureate is NOT next in my future (that's not negative, just speaking the truth:), I'm receiving great personal joy from the poetry "thing"
5. Feeling more and more confident with my renewed skills as an artist
WHEW - o.k. that's my five. I like your five very much - thanks for asking.
